Ficosa Advanced Communications and ADAS BUs, within ECSEL-JU H2020 framework program, are participating in SECREDAS project which aims to work on defining and implementing adequate levels of security against attacks for today’s product.
The contribution of FICOSA Advanced Communication is to provide a secure ITS-G5 V2X On-Board-Unit which will include beyond state-of-art technologies to provide highest level of security, both HW and SW and it is expected to include the results and acquired know-how into our telematic unit portfolio.
Ficosa ADAS BU is also participating in SECREDAS project by developing a Driver Monitoring system that analyses the respiratory signal in order to provide information about the drowsiness and the stress of the driver. The expected results are a whole system installed on a car with the required algorithms to decide if the driver is apt or not to drive, as well as the know-how acquired during the project for the improvement of the drowsiness detection algorithm.
This project has a duration of 3 year long with start date on May/2018 and finish date Apr/2021
